Description of Input Output Signals

1. Pulse Input (PU):

2. Direction Input (DIR):

3. Motor Free Input (MF): When MF = ON, the current to the motor is totally cut off.

4. Micro Mode Selection Input (SM): Two different micro step resolutions can be selected in real time. Details refer to each individual driver specifications.

5. Over Heat Output (FL): When driver temperature is over 70°C, the output is ON. When temperature is down below 50°C, this output is OFF.

6.Initial Position Output (TM): The signal is output every time the excitation sequence returns to the initial stage “0”. (Photo coupler: ON). 50 outputs per revolution.

7. Alarm Indicator (O.H): Lit when an abnormal happened (over heat, under voltage, or over current).

8. Power Indicator (POWER): Lit whenever the input power is “ON”.

9. Running Current Setting Pot (RUN Im): Set running current level.

10. Idle Current Setting Pot (Stop Im): Set the idle (stop) current level.

PRECAUTIONS:

1. NEVER REVERSE THE DC INPUT POWER, DO NOT EXCEED THE RATED MAX. VOLTAGE.

2. INPUT SIGNAL HIGHER THAN 5V SHOULD USE AN ADDITIONAL SERIES RESISTOR.

3. Over heat is triggered at 70°C and resumed at 50°C. Heat sink should be used when over heat occures.
